The Bronze Bite is starting to pick up in the mountain state. The white ghost woolybugger started off the show picking up 2 Smallies first thing at 9 O’clock sharp. One of which was pushing the 3 pound mark but with Chuck Norris like ninja skills that foiled my picture-taking plans by spitting the hook.

After seeing a few fish hammer the top I switch over to a popper and to my excitement the bite was on once again.

Quick and vicious to say the least. I made my way through the old hopper box from a big old popper to the king kong hopper….all productive. Mr Carp also came out to play hitting a dead drifted Tequila Fly.

Still not warm enough yet I figure for the Snicky Snicky Gar Ghar to come out and play.  The Red Fin suckers were in FULL spawn.  With rain in the forecast tomorrow I’ll be after the more sought after fishy friend.  Hopefully the weather will keep the “Bankers” at home.
