Crappy Day

14 Apr

Headed to the lake last weekend after muskie, largemouth, smallmouth and some sunfish. Casting till my arm almost fell off after muskie lead me to switch over to the smaller stuff and beat the banks after bass and suns. The water still hasn’t settled at the lake, which made it tough on the topwater action. Needless to say nothing was moving except for a few sunfish. Beautiful day on the lake and another day learned of what is needed for the nanner boat.  I did manage to witness a beast of a muskie take to the air either after something or just to show off.

With another weekend comming up I’ll be off to chase some of those poorly managed West Virginia trout and play a little golf.
