Humor me for a moment if you will. Imagine a fly fishing media company that embodies the spirits of Bo and Luke Duke, Martin Scorsese, and Roderick Haig-Brown. You then might begin to have an idea of what Bent Rod Media is all about. The story begins in 2007 with three friends in the Southeast, some handheld cameras, and a passion for chasing our fishy friends with fur and feather. From these humble beginnings, Bent Rod Media has expanded to an equally humble present. The crew now numbers 5 and can proudly call a lot of fine folks our friends and supporters. We have become a little more technologically advanced since ’07 and have begged, borrowed and stolen to acquire a couple of HD cameras and some crazy NASA-like computing power. Through a lot of moxy (and more passion then you can fit in a Volkswagen) Bent Rod Media is committed to pursuing and filming fish wherever they may live and sharing those experiences with anyone who is willing to watch and listen. Our current portfolio includes a diverse range of projects ranging from fly fishing outfitters’ promotional videos to exploratory film projects featuring such exotic fly-fishing locales as Chile and Nicaragua.

I remeber…mitch was with us that day. I remeber boating some good fish that day in the trophy section.
That would be the five of us. Quite a well rounded group. I’ve missed some of those fishing get togethers, but I plan on that happening a lot less now that I’ll probably be invited :). How was the fishing this week guys? Hitting the river tomorrow myself.
